Connecting a USB GPS to your Cerbo GX is pretty straightforward.

Most third-party GPS modules that use the NMEA0183 command set will work.

Just plug your GPS into one of the USB sockets on the Cerbo GX.

It might take a few minutes to connect, but once it does, you’ll be able to track your vehicle or boat remotely on the VRM portal, even set up alarms with a Geofence!

To connect a USB GPS to Cerbo GX, use a third-party module with NMEA0183 command-set. Cerbo GX supports 4800 and 38400 baud rates.

The Cerbo GX has tested compatibility with:

    • Globalsat BU353-W SiRF STAR III 4800 baud

    • Globalsat ND100 SiRF STAR III 38400 baud

    • Globalsat BU353S4 SiRF STAR IV 4800 baud

    • Globalsat MR350 + BR305US SiRF STAR III 4800 baud

Connect the GPS to a USB socket on the Cerbo GX; it may take a few minutes to recognize.

Once connected, track your vehicle or boat remotely on the VRM portal and set up Geofence alarms.

Compatible models include various Globalsat units. The location data will be sent to the VRM portal and displayed on the map.
