Connecting your battery cables correctly is essential for the safe and efficient operation of your MultiPlus-II 230V.

    Preparation:

    • Ensure all power to the unit is switched off before starting.

    • Gather your tools, including a torque wrench and an insulated box spanner to prevent accidental shorting.

    Recommended Torque:

    • Use the torque wrench to tighten the connections to the recommended torque of 12 Nm for M8 nuts.

    Accessing the Terminals:

    • Undo the two screws at the bottom of the unit’s enclosure.

    • Carefully remove the service panel to expose the connection terminals.

    Connecting the Cables:

    • Following the connection overview from the manual, attach your battery cables to the designated terminals.

    Securing the Connection:

    • Place the connector over the terminal followed by the flat washer.

    • Add the lock washer next, and then the nut.

    • Tighten the nut well to ensure minimal contact resistance and a secure connection.

    Avoiding Short Circuits:

    • Be mindful throughout the process to avoid the battery cables touching each other or any metal surfaces that could cause a short circuit.

    Final Checks:

    • Double-check that all connections are tight and secure.

    • Replace the service panel and fasten the screws you previously removed.

Remember, a secure and well-fitted connection can significantly impact the performance and safety of your MultiPlus-II. Best of luck
