The maximum PV open circuit voltage is shown in the number on the front of the charge controller.

Using the Victron SmartSolar Charge Controller
MPPT 100/50 as an example,

the 100 signifies 100 volts maximum PV open circuit voltage

the 50 signifies the rated charge current. 50 Amps
